Our SIL80 is aimed at giving more experienced drivers a powerful car to enjoy Kansai circuits.

For us this car started out offered to us by a friend who had imported it from South Africa where it was his street and drift car, He had put this 1JZ which is originally from Naoki Nakamura’s old S14 drift car into it and used it for drifting before exporting the whole car to Japan. we then stripped the car down, strengthened and modified it to become a much easier yet still aggressive car to drive for our guests including downsize of the turbo to a sensible and responsive TD06 from the former BLITZ K27 which would have been nice to keep, but we feel the lag may have been an issue for our guests and driveline. Despite the power figures seeming low this car is a monster on these Kansai circuits while retaining drivability to ensure our guests have the best experience. Steering wise we have opted for ‘N-style V3’ knuckles with extended LCA’s and castor forward instead of back like the classic V1 setup, Which gives this car a much more aggressive feel over our S13 Silvia.

Guests that have driven this car have always been surprised at how fast and aggressive this car really is despite the humble dyno figures. Some less experienced drivers even opting to swap for the S13 Silvia when we have brought both cars to the circuit as this was too much car for them.
