GUIDE TO ACCESS K-DORI
Here is a basic guide to help you understand how the process works, In order to give you a clear idea of how you can plan drifting with us around your holiday in beautiful Japan
osaka city / KOBE CITY
Ideally you will be staying in or travelling through Osaka or Kobe city before coming drifting with us as we are based in the countryside of Kobe, Which makes us easily accessible by public transport from a few locations in both Osaka and Kobe.
Public TRANSPORT TO OUR PLACE
If you are staying at our place the Night before (reccomended) The best option is a HIGHWAY BUS directly to our house from either UMEDA OSAKA STATION (1 hour 20 min ¥1450) SHIN OSAKA STATION (1 hour 10 min ¥1350) SHINKI BUS KOBE SANNOMIYA BUS TERMINAL (56 min ¥1350) We will give you a location to set your google maps to and Google will provide you the best directions for which bus to take from your chosen starting point. we will pick you up from the bus stop when you arrive! Guests typically choose to arrive between 7pm ~ 9pm
Alternatively you are welcome to hire your own rentacar and meet us at the circuit.
DORI HOUSE
All of our guests are encouraged and welcome to stay at our cosy house the night before we go to the circuit. This creates a more personal and comfortable experience for our guests as it is super important to us that everyone gets the most out of their time with us and this gives everyone a chance to experience real countryside life in Japan.
TRAVEL TO THE CIRCUIT for 1 or 2 people
For 1 or 2 guests you will ride in the truck with us to the circuit with stops for breakfast and bathroom breaks at the Fantastic Highway Parking Areas along the way whenever the need arises.
TRAVEL TO THE CIRCUIT FOR GROUPS OF 3 OR MORE
For groups of 3 or more we suggest hiring a car or you can rent our Van for the day to ride in the comfort. Our van is also available for hire long term or for the entirity of your trip
ARRIVAL AT THE CIRcuit
We always aim to arrive as the circuit opens. We are more than happy to take a photo of you with the sign and the cars on the truck. Prior to arrival at the circuit we will visit a Convenience store where we can all buy food for lunch as most circuits do not have any food available, however they all have microwaves for us to use.
PREPARATION
We will unload the car and explain all the circuit and k-dori rules and point out all the dangers and recommended areas to drift.
DRIFT TIME
We will take you for a lap familiarization where we explain all the important points such as where to go after you go off course and pitting exit, entry, etiquette etc. Then we set you up in the car to ensure you are comfortable and you go out and enjoy all day!
PIT MAINTENANCE AND TYRE CHANGES
Whenever necessary we will take care of all the car maintenance and tyre changes ensuring you have a stress free and comfortable experience while you’re taking a break and buzzing from driving our awesome drift cars on Japan’s amazing Kansai circuits
RETURN
After we have had all our fun and the circuit is closing we will return home and drop you off at the same bus you arrived on going in the opposite direction back to Osaka so you can continue your adventures in Japan!
